A La Vieille Russie could be a big apple antiques gallery specializing in European and yankee antique jewellery, and in Russian works of art. A closed corporation since its institution in Kiev in 1851, it’s been in its gift Fifth Avenue location at 781 Fifth Avenue at 59th Street, opposite the southeast corner of common, since 1961. Featured square measure artworks by Carl Fabergé, created for members of the Romanoff court and alternative rich patrons in turn-of-the-century Russia. A La Vieille Russie has bought and sold-out several of the Fabergé Imperial Easter Eggs.
