Originally an Early Baroque chateau rebuilt in 1820-1833 in the style of Viennese Classicism by the building master Pietro Nobile for the chancellor Klement Vaclav Lothar, the Duke von Matternich-Winneburg. There is a large English park with precious trees and romantic buildings. Historical interiors with valuable stylish furnishings, rich collections of products of nature, coins, weapons, paintings, Egyptian and Oriental antique. A unique collection of curiosities, the famous chancellor’s library. The chateau is a unique sight in the style of countryside representative Empire residence.
