Kuwait is an oil-rich state, having ten percent of the World’s estimated oil reserves, making it a leading exporter of petroleum and one of the most successful nations in Asia. In Arabic language, Kuwait means “”fortress built near water””. The national name of Kuwait is Dawlat al-Kuwayt. It is having a highly multi-ethnic society with diverse and vibrant customs, mainly influenced by Islamic and Arab cultures, which can be seen in their warm Arabian hospitality, cuisine, architecture, attire and music.
This country is ranked ninth in the “”Richest Countries in the World”” list, but surprisingly, half of the population of Kuwait, are not Kuwaiti nationals. Al-Kuwayt is the capital of Kuwait and is the political and commercial centre of the country. This country has a lot to offer to the tourists, which includes a wide variety of spectacular Arabic style architectural marvels, Liberation Tower, Kuwait Towers, the Tareq Rajab Museum, Liberation Monuments, the Kuwait Mosque and the various amusement parks.
