Kunthalgiri is famous Jain pilgrimage center. It comes in Bhoom Taluka of the district and is known as Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra, Kunthalgiri. This Kshetra is situated on a 175 feet high hill. Kunthalgiri is sacred place of Jain as it is believed that this is the same place where two ascetics of Jain named Shri Kulbhushan and Shri Deshbushan attained the salvation. These two ascetics belonged to the time of Bhagwan Munisuvrat Nath, the 20th Jain Tirthanakar. The temple of Shri Kulbushan and Shri Deshbushan is the main temple here. It called as Bara Mandir and is beautifully sculptured temple. Beautiful idols of Shri Kulbushan and Shri Deshbushan are situated there. Thesse three feet high standing idols are made in white stone and are part of the main temple situated on the top the hill. The idols of Bhagvan Shantinath, Munisuvrat Nath and Adinath are also found there. Temple of Bhagwan Shantinath is another important temple in Kunthalgiri. With the black idol of main deity of Shantinath the temple also contains the metallic idols goddess Padmavati and Saraswati. The temple also contains a room where Acharya Shantisagaraji took Samdhimaran by ending his physical existence. Bahubali, Adinath and Ajinath temple and are other prominent temples situated at Kunthalgiri. Neminath temple, Mahavir temple and the temple of Ratnatraya are also located there downhill. Ratnatraya temple is beautiful one for its beautiful interior mirror works. The temple is also called as Kanch temple (temple of mirrors). Dharmashalas situated at Kunthalgiri provide the accommodation facility to the devotees coming from far and wide. An annual religious gathering and Rathyatra are organized here every year from 11th to 15th day of Margsheesh Shukla.
