Detail InformationEdit

The Parish Church is right in the town center of Kronstorf.
Dating back to 1300, the small tuff gate and the early Gothic mural paintings on the north interior wall are the oldest parts of the Kronstorf parish church. While teaching at the local school between 1843 and 1845, the famous Austrian composer Anton Bruckner used to play the church organ. In 1970 much of the church´s neo-Gothic furnishings and decoration was removed. Major renovations were made between 1977 and 1979.
