Kromberk is a settlement in the municipality of Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. Although it officially has the status of a village, it forms, together with its two satellite settlements of Ajševica and Loke, one of the four major suburbs of Nova Gorica (the others being Solkan, Rožna Dolina and Pristava). Kromberk Castle is located near the settlement. The castle, named after the Gorizian-Gradiscan noble family Coronini Cronberg, also gave the name to the settlement.
Before World War II, a sizable Friulian minority lived in Kromberk, but have almost all been assimilated since. They have, however, left several traces in the local variant of Slovene language, as well as in the local toponomy, customs, and cuisine. Surnames of Friulian origin are still very common in Kromberk.
