The concert house wine district is an Art Nouveau concert hall in the Lower Austrian village ornamental. The faithfully restored hall is a listed building.
In 1910, originally as “”Art Nouveau hall”” designated by the innkeeper ballroom Ernest Frohlich was taken into operation. The hall was designed by the Viennese architect of the city was built by Henry Blahosch villages ornamental mason Ludwig Streicher. In the interwar period, the hall as an event center for balls, colorful evenings and theater performances and has been used as “”the most beautiful ballroom between Vienna and Prague”” called. Many clubs had their home. The rail link with Vienna was given by the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs Railway.
After 1945, the building into a wine-box storage and has been converted. The guest house remained until 1971 and Froehlich was demolished in 2005.
The concert house wine area, with its “”Ludwig Streicher, art nouveau hall”” is used in many ways. The program consists of classical music, cabaret, theater performances, readings, musical entertainment and a sophisticated children’s and youth program. In the newly built hall with its associated gallery spaces, the “”ARTS Gallery at the Konzerthaus””, see exhibitions of mostly contemporary art. In the first five years, over 20,000 guests attended the evening entertainment of the Konzerthaus wine district.
