Knowlton Mansion, conjointly referred to as the Rhawn Residence, could be a historic mansion within the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, us. The three-story mansion was designed within the Gothic Revival vogue by famous nineteenth century designer Frank Furness as a residence for William Rhawn, a productive Philadelphia banker. The house was completed in 1881 and was named when John Knowles, Rhawn’s wife’s great-grandfather. It later served because the residence for Robert MacKay inexperienced II, WHO was the son of Robert MacKay inexperienced I WHO fictitious the frozen dessert soda in 1874.
The mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. These days the mansion is the house to Conroy line of work. The primary fundraiser command at Knowlton by Conroy line of work was for former State Representative Chris Wogan in December 1997.
