The Kirkpatrick art Center is that the main performance venue at state capital University. It connects to the Wanda L Bass Music Center. Combined they house the Wanda L Bass faculty of Music and therefore the recently fashioned faculty of Theatre. The Kirkpatrick art Center contains the Kirkpatrick area, town Theatre, Petree Recital Hall, and therefore the faculty of Theatre Scene look.
The Kirkpatrick area was designed by subject field firm Layton Hicks & Forsyth, and created by JH Frederickson & Co. John A Brown (Chairman of Board), Eugene Mantrin (President), Building Committee: platinum Stuart (Chairman), EB Galloway, CSMC Creight, EDS Vaught in 1928. The Kirkpatrick is employed for Opera, Musical Theatre, Theatre, and Dance Mainstage performances. The Venue is commonly utilised as a rental hall. The Kirkpatrick seats about one,095.
