The Municipality of Kincardine is found on the shores of lake within the County of Bruce within the province of Ontario, Canada. The municipality, located at the mouth of the Penetangore River, was created in 1999 by the merger of the city of Kincardine, the Township of Kincardine, and also the administrative district of Bruce. It was formerly known as Penetangore. In addition to the town centre of the Town of Kincardine, The Municipality of Kincardine contains the subsequent tiny communities.
