Khavda Flamingo Colony in Gujarat is reputed among the largest flamingo colony within the world. Each year, about half a million flamingos migrate from hotter climates to the watery expanse of this area to breed. Bus : Gujarat State transport and private buses available form Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Jodhpur.

Train : Kutch does not have a train station, and the nearest station is Bhuj, at a distance of 70 kms from Kutch. Kutch Express (Daily) and Sayaji Nagri Express (Daily) from Mumbai via Surat, Ahmedabad and Gandhidham to Bhuj. Ala Hazrat Express(Daily) from Delhi via Jaipur, Ajmer and Palanpur to Bhuj.
