Kewanee could be a town in Henry County, Illinois, u. s.. “Kewanee” is that the Winnebago word for grassland chicken[citation needed], that lekked there. The population was twelve,916 at the 2010 census, down from twelve,944 at the 2000 census. in keeping with the u. s. bureau, the town features a total space of half-dozen.3 sq. miles (16 km2), of which, 6.3 sq. miles (16 km2) of it’s land and zero.16% is water.
