Church Field is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe, municipality De Wolden. Church Field is a fen of the nineteenth century, occupying a lot younger than Alteveer neighboring village. The place was originally called Upper Church Veen. The place has the following features: a Dutch Reformed church, a village shop, a barbershop, a restaurant, sports fields and a public elementary school.
For other facilities is dependent on Zuidwolde or Hoogeveen. For public transportation, the residents of Church Field to rely on the bus line 30 (Hoogeveen – Hardenberg) which is a half hour service runs. It also runs local bus 191 (Hoogeveen – Make Drogt Strokes) an irregular service.
