Kenedy may be a town in Karnes County, Texas, u. s., named for Mifflin Kenedy, United Nations agency bought four hundred,000 acres (1,60Square kilometers) and wished to develop a brand new city that may carry his name. The population was three,487 at the 2000 census. within the Early decennium several of Kenedy’s gunfighter’s shooting caused the city to be nicknamed “Six Shooter Junction”. throughout war II, the Kenedy Alien correctional institution was settled close to the outskirts of the city. This was a unfortunate of war camp that started as AN POW camp for Germans, Italians, Japanese, and South Americans.
