The church is mentioned already in 1393 – back then it was positioned opposite the parish. The graveyard surrounds the church. A new church was errected between 1792 and 1797 by Anton Esterhàzy and the building was completed by the beginning of the 19th century.
The high altar with its columns dated back to 1800 – s does the altar picure with its stunning iconography. The side altar with the “Black Madonna” picture should be mentioned as well.
