This gargantuan auditorium has the capacity of accommodating thousands of people at a time and most of the grand scale processions carried out in Nagpur city terminate here. Numerous trade shows and a number of religious and cultural festivals are held at the coliseum of the Kasturchand Park and it is thriving with all kinds of activities and event all twelve months of the year. The most popular and most noteworthy gala organized here is the Ganesh Chathurthi celebration when other than the religious ceremonies and rituals, many carnivals and fairs are also held. The core of the Kasturchand Park is bejeweled with an imposing palace like structure which along with its lofty minarets yields an imperial outlook.
