Kanawyers (formerly, Kanawyer) is associate unorganized community in city County, California. It lies at associate elevation of 5020 feet (1530 m) within the ravine of the South Fork of the Kings stream.
The Kanawyer post workplace operated from 1908 to 1914. The city was based by Peter Napoleon Kanawyer, United Nations agency strip-mined copper from the close creek that currently bears the metal’s name.
