Kaleshwar- known as Daxin Kashi, an ancient temple (which was damaged in moghul raj) is just on the other side of the river bank, opposite. sironcha. temple is renovated by maharashtra and andhra pradesh govt. with public support. it is facing the union of three rivers: 1.Godavari 2.Indravati 3.Saraswati (not sure) the Pranhita is a offshoot rivers (upnadi) which is flowing towards sironcha. Kaleshwar is a major place of worship and performing last rites by hindus and visited by millions. This is a sacred place situated on the confluence of rivers Godavari and Pranhita. Every twelve years, on the occasion of Sinhastha Parva, a fair is held where people across the country visit the place.
