Juchitan could be a settlement, and also the encompassing municipality of an equivalent name, within the Mexican state of Guerrero. It’s a part of the region of the state referred to as the Costa Chica. Within the 2005 INEGI census, the municipal seat according a population of two,944, compared to six,240 for the municipality as a full. The municipality of Juchitan was created on five March 2004 with its escision from the municipality of Azoyu; as of the time of writing, it’s Guerrero’s newest municipality.
