Jovellanos could be a municipality and town within the Matanzas Province of Cuba. It had been based in 1842 as Corral Delaware la Bemba on the placement of associate degree recent ranch referred to as Bemba. It took its current name in 1870, in honor of the Spanish author Caspar Melchor Delaware Jovellanos. An equivalent year it achieved the standing of villa (town).
