Joliette could be a town in southwest Quebec, Canada. It’s more or less fifty kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Montreal, on the L’Assomption watercourse and is that the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Joliette. Town is home to the Joliette Art repository, whose works of art embody paintings, sculptures, paper design and an outsized assortment of art from the French Middle Ages.
Joliette has three francophone college|highschool}s and one anglophone high school similarly as a francophone CEGEP. The city’s economy is principally within the producing and repair sectors. The biggest gravel manufacturer within the space, Graybec, is found in Joliette and exploits a large quarry simply outside town.
