Neo-Romanticism building with Baroque stone altars on both sides. This church is Tirol´s oldest church consecrated to Saint John. It made its first appearance in the chronicles in 1274 when it was largely destroyed by a landslide. Only the chancel remains of the original Gothic building. The entire building was rebuilt in Baroque style during the 18th century. In 1822 a fire destroyed the church and only a few years later, in 1831, the house was reopened again.
