Cochrane could be a city in northern Ontario, Canada. It’s placed east of Kapuskasing, northeast of Timmins, south of Moosonee, and north of Iroquois Falls. It’s a couple of one-hour drive from Timmins, the foremost town of the region. It’s the seat of Cochrane District.
The town’s population is formed from some 0.5 anglophone and 0.5 francophone residents. The city contains several references to polar bears. Its organism could be a massive Thalarctos maritimus sculpture called Chimo. There also are live polar bears at the new “Polar Bear Conservation and academic environment and Heritage Village” that opened within the summer of 2004.
Polar bears from the railroad provincial capital zoological garden were settled to Cochrane whereas a brand new collapsible shelter was being created. Those 2 polar bears were came to the provincial capital zoological garden within the summer of 2009. The settlement was ravaged by fireplace in 1910, 1911, and 1916, however restored when and have become a transportation hub for northern Ontario.
