The Holy City of Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the World and has great religious importance amongst Jews, Christians and Muslims. The Western Wall also known as The Wailing Wall is one the most significant Jewish religious sites. The wall is believed to be the only remain of the ancient temple built by King Solomon and is considered holy in Judaism.
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is sacred amongst the Christians as at this very place they believe Jesus was buried. The Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosques are considered as two of the most significant mosques amongst the Muslims. Besides this other major tourist places of interest in Jerusalem include Israel Museum, Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, Teddy Stadium, Hebrew University, the Knesset, Supreme Court, Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Old City Area.
