The theologizer Street Bridge, is associate degree arch bridge across the Youghiogheny watercourse connecting the east and west banks of the city industrial suburban area of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. It had been designed by Saint George S. Richardson. Originally, associate degree Eighteen Eighties span stood on the location. This structure primarily served trolley traffic and was inadequate for vehicles. An excellent Depression-era construction bond was provided to fund the creation of a replacement auto-centric four lane road bridge.
Despite the structure’s name, it doesn’t carry or connect with theologizer Street. Instead, this little road was dismantled as a part of the bridge’s construction. Once the town named the road approaching the bridge once incumbent Republican politician Saint George Lysle, they projected that the Youghiogheny crossing receive a similar designation. However, the President administration contended that construction greenbacks couldn’t be accustomed memorialize living officeholders. As a result, the theologizer Street designation was chosen, and it remains in situ these days, though it’s typically noted because the Lysle street Bridge.
