Jérémie is that the capital town of the department of Grand’Anse, in Haiti, with a population of concerning thirty one,000 (2003 census). It’s virtually isolated from the remainder of the country. The Grande-Anse watercourse flows close to the town.
Jérémie is additionally known as the town of the poets due to the various writers, poets, and historians born there, like Etzer Vilaire and Emile Roumer.
