Japanese Tunnel is one of the most sought after and popular historically significant tourist destinations in Mindanao region. This outstanding site is situated right amidst the natural beauty and close to some scenic hilly region. This magnificent tunnel was created during World War II in order to prepare a hideout for soldiers along with their belongings. Now, the site has become a tourist spot with Japanese restaurant and facility to stay overnight in form of rooms.
Inside the tunnel, visitors will find statues of Japanese soldiers, cages for prisoners etc. The tunnel is not so long the length of the tunnel will come around three hundred meters but it is worth visiting. This is a great place to visit if you have any interest in the history of area around World War II.
