Jaco is a coastal city, in the county of Garabito in Costa Rica’s Puntarenas province. Located in the Central Pacific Region, on the pacific coast of Costa Rica. Jaco is approximately one hour by car from San Jose and Costa Rica’s primary International Airport (SJO). Manuel Antonio National Park is located just one hour South of Jaco. Diseases such as malaria, yellow fever and dengue fever are nonexistent, or extremely rare and no shots or vaccinations are necessary when traveling to Costa Rica.
