Iroquois Falls could be a village in Northern Ontario, Canada. The town centre lies just off of Hwy 11 on the banks the Abitibi River, west of Lake Abitibi. Timmins, one among the biggest cities in northern Ontario is around fifty kilometres (31A mi) to the west. The subsequent communities also are inside the municipal boundaries: Monteith, Nellie Lake, and Porquis Junction.Iroquois Falls is home to the Abitibi Eskimos, formerly the Iroquois Falls Junior Eskis, of the Northern Ontario Junior league.
The Iroquois Falls Curling Club has five rinks with a snug licensed lounge appropriate for rentals, receptions and catered events. Iroquois Falls is home to the top-producing factory of pulp and paper company AbitibiBowater, that is that the town’s primary trade.
