Indian Bay is found in Newfoundland, Canada.Situated on the northwest arm of Bonavista Bay, Indian Bay was once the sole earth community placed between Salvage and Greenspond till the late nineteenth century.
Indian Bay was once referred to as Parsons purpose, once its initial settlers, and Northwest Arm. Europeans initial came to Indian Bay within the eighteenth century to fish for salmon. In 1720 George Skeffington was salmon fishing there and by 1786 there have been eight salmon operations within the space. Permanent settlement began once 1800.
