Hurlbut Memorial Gate may be a monumental structure, 132 linear unit (40 m) long, fifty linear unit (15 m) high, and forty linear unit (12 m) comprehensive, at the entry thanks to Water Works Park situated at East Chief Executive Avenue and Cadillac street in an exceedingly historic space of city, Michigan. It’s named once Chauncey (sometimes “Chauncy”) Hurlbut, a nineteenth century city merchant, president of the Board of Water Commissioners, and giver.
The gate was selected a Michigan State Historic web site in 1974 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The monument was inbuilt 1894 and totally fixed in 2007.
