Huatabampo may be a town and municipality within the state of Sonora, in northwestern North American nation. It’s located on the Gulf of American state, close to the mouth of the salad dressing stream. It’s situated thirty four kilometre southwest of Navojoa via {sonora|Sonora|genus Sonora|reptile genus} thruway fifty six and Sonora thruway 149. Mexican Federal main road fifteen is accessed via Sonora thruway 176. The world of the municipality (urban and rural) is one,169.92 km2.
The name Huatabampo is from the native salad dressing language, “Huata” (Willow) + “Bampo” (Water), or “Willow in/near the Water”.
