Huaquechula is that the name of a municipality in east urban center, Mexico, still because the name of the city that’s its municipal seat.The name Huaquechula comes from Nahuatl Quauhquechollan, which means “place of eagle-spoonbills”.
In the early sixteenth century, the place was the positioning of associate armed clash between Tlaxcaltecas and Mexicas during which the previous wreaked bloody disturbance. A son of Moctezuma Xocoyotzin (‘Moctezuma the Younger’, or Moctezuma II; c.1466-June twenty nine, 1520), the Huey Tlatoani of the Mexicas from 1502 till 1520, died there in combat.During the Colonial amount of was a part of the corrijidorimento of Atrisco.
