Houston library is that the library system serving Houston, Texas, us. The library system has its headquarters within the Marston Building in Neartown Houston. It will trace its beginning to the Houston Lyceum in 1854. Once an outsized contribution from industrialist it had been hired because the Houston Lyceum and Carnegie Library. Houston’s 1st library facility opened on March 2, 1904. Julia Ideson was named its 1st bibliothec. The building made as Houston’s Central Library in 1926 was later named in her honor.
