The Godhead Roman church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
The church was dedicated by John Henni, the primary bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of urban center, on Gregorian calendar month twenty two, 1850. It underwent renovations in 1863 and once more in 1874. A spire was added in 1862 and a clock with 3 bells within the tower in 1869.Additionally, a wind was put in in 1878 and 3 interior altars were put in in 1890.
