Hoglund Ballpark could be a baseball arena in Lawrence, Kansas. It’s the house field of the University Of Kansas Jayhawks school squad. The arena holds two,500 folks and opened for baseball in 1958. It’s named when former Jayhawk baseball shortstop Forrest Hoglund. Following the 2010 season, a synthetic turf surface was put in at the power. The installation, that was overseen by AstroTurf USA, cost $1.2 million, all of that was funded by donations to the Jayhawk baseball program.
