High grassland may be a city in northern Canadian province, Canada. It’s settled at the junction of main road two and main road 749, around eighty nine kilometres (55 mi) northeast of Valleyview and 118 kilometres (73 mi) west of Slave Lake. The city of High grassland is found in open plains with made farmland.
High Prairie’s 1st post workplace opened in 1910. In 1914, the alignment of the provincial capital, Dunvegan and Canadian province Railway, later referred to as the Northern Canadian province Railway, was chosen to travel through High grassland rather than Grouard to the northeast. As a result, several residents and businesses from Grouard settled to High grassland once the provincial capital, Dunvegan and Canadian province Railway was engineered.
