Havilah is AN unorganised community in Jerome Kern County, California. It’s settled four miles (6.4 km) sou’-sou’-east of Miracle Hot Springs, at AN elevation of 3136 feet (956 m). Havilah is found within the mountains on Caliente-Bodfish Road between the Walker Basin and Bodfish. The name comes from the Biblical story describing Havilah as an area wherever there’s gold.
The area is deckled to the east and west by cypress National Forest lands and is found at the junction of Havilah ravine and Haight ravine. Elevations at the ground of the ravine vary from around three,050 feet (930 m) AMSL to three,400 feet (1,000 m). Havilah ravine runs roughly north-south and mountain peaks to the east and west area unit over one,000 feet (300 m) on top of the route, that runs on the ground of Havilah ravine. King Solomons Ridge lies to the east; vagrant Ridge lies to the west. Snow could also be gift throughout winter months.
