Hanksville may be a community in Wayne County, Utah, u. S., at the junction of State Routes twenty four and ninety five. The population was 219 at the 2010 census.
The city is simply south of the confluence of the John C. Fremont watercourse and Muddy Creek, that along type the Dirty Devil watercourse, that then flows southeast to the Colorado watercourse. The Hanksville-Burpee Quarry is found close, and also the Mars Desert analysis Station is seven miles (11 km) northwest of city.
