HistoryEdit

Guru Nanak Darbar now is a place for community living and provides education and medical services. The place was once known as Hollywood club and was used as an entertainment centre by the army in British era. It has just one hall and the rest was a vacant open space. A sardarji on noticing this, requested the army to use the place as a Gurudwara. People of all communities began to pray here and slowly it developed into a full-fledged Gurudwara which was named after Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Gurus.
