Grosse Pointe Park includes an outsized neighborhood settled on Windmill Pointe, a once-swampy piece of land roughly south of United States President Avenue, the sting of that marks the doorway to the river and therefore the finish of Lake St. Clair. An outsized formation park with a pool, gym, theatre, and gathering areas for residents is found at this spot. At the bottom of the purpose, at the foot of 3 Mile Drive, is another massive park, Patterson Park, that is understood for its rink and walking trails.
