The Groderdenkmal monument was built in 1981 by the local “Schuetzen” and is situated in Kals/Ködnitz next to the Raiffeisenbank. It was built in honour of Stefan Groder who sacrificed his life for Rupert Groder, father of numerous children, and who was executed in 1809.
