Grandes-Piles may be a village municipality within the Mauricie region of the province of Quebec in Canada. This tiny village is found on a drop-off of the Saint-Maurice stream north of Grand-Mère. Because the birthplace of the log drives within the Mauricie, it’s associate degree informative centre of the forest trade. The reopening of the stream for recreational yachting created it a favourite spot for water sports and sailing.
