The Granada Theater may be a historic theater and concert venue set in Lawrence, Kansas. The Granada Theater was originally in-built 1928 as a theater in Lawrence, Kansas by the Boller Brothers. It absolutely was restored in 1934 as a movie. The primary film shown there was Henry M. Robert Montgomery’s 1934 comedy Hide-Out. The podium was restored once more in 1993 and repurposed as a comedy club/concert venue, drawing acts like Nightwish, Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Folds, The Flaming Lips, The Strokes, and Weezer.
