The Goathaunt Bunkhouse was designed as a service structure for the nice Northern edifice Company’s development of the Goathaunt web site in ice mass park. The bunkhouse is that the last extant structure of this era at this location, close to the southern finish of Waterton Lake. Its style has been attributed to park Service landscapist Thomas Chalmers Vint.
The site is at the southern finish of Waterton Lake, close to the fashionable Goat Haunt Ranger Station. It absolutely was designed to accommodate the crew of the M.V. International, atiny low traveller launch that plied the route between the yankee and Canadian ends of Waterton Lake.
