Ghanerao is a small and well known village that is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The village of Ghanerao is a pilgrim hotspot, due to the presence of a large number of temples in the region. The most famous temple in Ghanerao is the one dedicated to Gajanand, which is mainly famous for the huge statue of the deity that is housed in the temple. This huge statue is flanked by statues of other deities on the side. The temple of Muchhal Mahavir is a famous Jain temple that lies at a distance of about five kilometres from Ghanerao. This is a rare Jain temple that depicts Lord Mahavir with a moustache, and is one-of-its-kind.

By Air : Udaipur is located 110 kilometres away from Ghanerao, and you can opt for cabs or buses from the airport to the village. Domestic flights to all major cities including Mumbai and Delhi will be available, and fares will range around Rs 4000 to 6000.

By Train : The nearest railway station is located in Falna, which lies at a distance of thirty kilometres. The railway station at Falna has regular trains to the cities and towns of Bhuj, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Pune, Jammu Tawi and Bangalore and train fares start from Rs 150 for nearby places.

By BUS : Many buses ply from the neighbouring regions and villages. Bus fares will be cheap, although the mode of travel might get slightly uncomfortable for those who are not used to it. Bus fares from nearby towns will range around 50 INR, and bus fares from cities like Udaipur will range around Rs 50 to 100 for the basic class of travel.

By Taxi : Taxis and Auto rickshaws are easily available for moving about in the city.
