The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is an element of the National Archives and Records Administration’s presidential library system. The library is found at one thousand Beal Avenue on the north field of the University of Michigan in city, wherever Ford was a student and player. This repository homes documents and audio-visual materials on the life, career, and presidency of Gerald Ford, the thirty eighth President of the us.
Congressman Ford at first began donating his legislature papers to the Bentley Historical Library at the University Of Michigan, his school (B.A. 1935), in 1963. As his presidency role player to an in depth, Ford offered to gift his presidential materials to a presidential library that will be engineered on the university’s field and administered by the National Archives. The Library was dedicated on twenty seven Gregorian calendar month 1981.
