Detail InformationEdit
The George Wallace Tunnel may be a tunnel on interstate ten in Mobile, Alabama that crosses from the city’s downtown, goes at a lower place the Mobile River, and emerges on Blakeley Island wherever it joins the day of remembrance route.
In the space wherever the George C. Wallace Tunnel passes at a lower place downtown Mobile, the re-filled space was later screw-topped with a reconstruction of Fort Conde different|and several other} other new buildings, extending from the Mobile River for many blocks, on Water Street and Commerce Street. As a result of the tunnel tubes emerge inside downtown Mobile, the riverside on the Mobile River seems as AN unbroken, continuous city district, with no different signs of the tunnels below.
