Detail InformationEdit

Gaimukh is a small village in Bhandara Tehsil 20 miles north of Bhandara and six miles from Ambagad which houses the Gaimukh cave temple ascribed to the Kuramvars. It is so called because a spring issues from the rocks here, and the name Gaimukh or cow s mouth is usually applied to such springs, the form of a cow s mouth being sometimes carved out of the rock.
