Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club, was created by Maharajah Pratapsinh, the grandson of His Highness Maharajah Sayajirao Gaekwad, in the year 1930, an enticing course to be used by his European guests. Within the 1990s Pratapsinh’s grandson Samarjitsinh, restored the course and opened it to the public. The course was expanded in 2004 into a stately course managed by the Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club and now boasts over 300 members.
